JAZZ IN THE VINES - October 30, 2010
This is Australia's premier outdoor jazz event with fine entertainment, great food and wines in the beautiful Hunter Valley. Sit back, relax and enjoy a day out with the family, from 11:00am till 6:00pm. It's the 50th anniversary of Motown this year. From 1961 to 1971, Motown had 110 top 10 American hits, and artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Four Tops, and The Jackson 5, were all signed to Motown labels. James Morrison has been incorporating Motown hits in his performances for years as has Kate Ceberano and Doug Parkinson. It's great to have them all here at Jazz in the Vines to perform some soul, R&B and, of course, Jazz.
